because the players being sold are not good enough and the ones who have been offered contracts are. seems logical to me.
The two that are being sold were in place when Hill was manager, nobody else will be sold until we have a manager. Terry will clear the lot out and we'll play with 10 centre halves, all covered in bloody bandages. Lets hear folk then say we need to sign a bloody centre half.
A good time for the board to sell some of Keith's flops ready to give the new manager some money to try and get players in to help the fight
Ironic we've been crying out for a quality centre half for ages and when we might finally get one it will only be as the manager.
Flickers not getting the job then....The Don is in charge .....I've just booked the hotel for Blackpool and I'm looking at Bournemouth for next year just in case we drop
But in who's opinion? Don's? Because it should be the new manager who decides who he thinks are good enough.
Read Don's statement. Only Davies (who wants to go) and Wiseman (who we all want to go) are going. Bids on all other players are being rejected until a new manager is in place.
Agree it's madness, however fully in keeping with the amateurish/unprofessional way in which the club is run these days. Honest Don's clearly enjoying his usual January fire-sale, shipping out any marginally saleable assets for the lowest possible prices. We're so very f*cked.
Actions speak louder than words. Let's see where we are in a few weeks' time, aside of course from still bottom of the table.
Only just seen this: Rowing said: "The deals for Scott Wiseman and Craig Davies were in place under the previous management. We will reject bids for other players until we have a manager." Does that mean Hill had agreed a deal to sell Wiseman? The point still stands though regarding contracts.
