Why the rush to sign this parker bloke...

Can't we just juggle what we have and hope davey goes in for macken in a week or so when he will inevetably not fit into jewells plans.
Seems like a real waste of money for this kid if it's true, not proven at this level and i'd say deffo not better than what we have already.
I'll wait and see but could be as bad a signing as andy johnson...whatever happened to him? (chinny)

 

Macken is on £15,000 a week at Derby. If we can afford that, then great - but it seems like an awful lot. If we can get his wages down to under £10,000 - then maybe we could go for him.

 

And it also begs the question...

If macken doesn't figure at derby, will davey still have him back wy 5 so-called strikers at the club?

 

I appreciate the wage issue but surely lashing a bit out that way is better than buying someone who looks no better than a squad player.
I mean christ, christensen can't even get a game ahead of odey-whatsisname, a bloke who was clean through twice against saints but couldn't find the net.
My personal opinion is that he's a bit of a panic buy this parker lad, can't even get in blacky's team this season which is worrying to say the least!
If it has/does happen i hope i can say i'm wrong come april time. :x
