Why today's events were the right thing to do - especially after what we have been told

I think we are all in agreement that, even if we turned it around NOW - we would have a right fight on to stay in this division, but still possible.</p>

I also reckon that - given the circumstances, we would consider finishing say, six points above the relegation places a damned nigh miracle, or certainly a result.</p>

In the next 3 weeks we have 4 vital games, 3 of them are at home. Does anybody think that, under the leadership that prevailed before this afternoon, we would have gained more than ONE point from the twelve available - cos I certainly don't.</p>

And if that's the case, then perhaps today's events were right, and might yet prove not only to be justified, but the badly needed saviour of our fortunes.</p>
