    Because the Board at the time really believed in him and thought they had made a major coup in appointing a "young, promising and ambitious manager"


    How that came back to haunt them !, with John Dennis saying that Spackman should wear bells to let everyone know he was around!

    to be fair as **** as he was he did help to keep us up one season.
