why we bought that left winger

    Well, we tried McPhail out there last season and it really didn't suit him.
    Howard is still injured (and we have no news as to when he will be "back").

    Basically, that leaves Robbie as our only lefty.

    If you get the chance of a good player, I suppose you have to take it.
    Also, someone earlier suggested Devaney was RIGHT footed (but merely played on the left).

    Time will tell....

    Our squad has only got two left sided players, we need some depth! At least Howard and Devaney will be competing for their place anyway.

    Who is Devaney anyway? Sure ive heard of him.

    AND Howard wants to play centre...

    AND McPhail's position looks in danger wherever he plays/fails.

    I could easily see Howard in middle and McP on bench.

    Anyway, we certainly need something from the wings, cos there's FA supply thus far this season.
