Same could be said for many players e.g. Howard, Rasiak, Leroy Lita, Nathan Dyer etc etc...

Many reasons why players move on loan........ out of favour, to keep them fit and hopefully gain some form, put them in the shop window. And more and more now transfer window is in place you are seeing clubs pay loan fees rather than a transfer fee for players.

How long is left on his contract at PNE? It may be a Howard situation i.e. player in last year of his contract, refuses to sign new deal and stated to club he wants to move on. Club recieves an loan offer with view to permenant move, deal agreed ready for next window.

Whaley is experienced at this level and has always impressed me. So there is no way he is being allowed to be loaned out by PNE beacuse he's sh**...... Had a good partnership with Nugesnt when he was there perhaps, Davey's contacts combined with PC's significant funds may tempt him to come here on loan..... now that would be box office!
