if they want to sign him then they should buy him simple as. Not oh well you can take a look at him if you like we dont need him here. not as if we have a big game at the weekend. The transfer policy at oakwell really confuses me, this is where ritchie is made to look like a amatuer

    Mmmmmm.
Why would Celtic let us have McPartland on trial.
Why would Chelsea let us have Watt on a months trial.
Why would Scarborough let us have Coulson on trial.
Why would Barnsley let Flinders go on trial at Chelsea.

Works both ways pal. Burns is playing at a very low level. Polish football has grown to a good standard right now, and this would be a good step up for Burns. However, why would they pay us say £75k (example) and fork out £5k is he is not up to the standard of their league.

Also, why would Burns sign for a club in a country hes probably never visited?????

yes i can not understand it

it would only be understandable if we have

    1. a better replacement lined up - but he would have to be considerably better as burns is settled in this team
    2. no option

If it has been done to pacify Jacob as he wants to get in Aussie squad then I would find it very odd.

But the board and Ritchie will be thinking on the same lines as eveyone on here. They wouldn't just feebly let him go for no reason of that I am sure.

Why would Celtic let us have McPartland on trial. - Not in their future plans
Why would Chelsea let us have Watt on a months trial. - Not in their future plans
Why would Scarborough let us have Coulson on trial. - We get Coulson for a week, they get Kell for rest of season (turned out to be a bad move for 'boro)
Why would Barnsley let Flinders go on trial at Chelsea. - Possible big fee.
I think that would clear most of those questions up!

    To add to that

I believe Celtic had released McParland and we took Watt on loan rather than on trial.

    It's a disgraceful...........................................

Ritchie lets him fly off to Poland in the week before one of the toughest games of the season.</p>

He should be at Oakwell working on how we are going to overcome Colchester with the rest of the squad.

If this is Ritchies idea of good management then I'd like to know how he is going to get the best out of Burns if he is nursing himself for the move to Poland?

So much for not disrupting team morale.

    But as you say

Why would Celtic let us have McPartland on trial. - Not in their future plans

Which, given Burns is out of contract at the end of the season, andsees playing in the lower leagues a hindrance to his World Cupambitions, it may be fair to say the same of him.  You can't plan your future round a want-away star, can you?
