Its to do with buying the rights The football league did a deal with Premium TV for exclusive internet rights for commentaries. The flip side of the deal was they had to provide a commentary for every match for every club rather than cherry picking. Its better than Sky who have the internet TV rights for all their football games but dont even stream them. At least Setanta give you that option with their games. Unfortunately I doubt many asian channels are carrying an internet commentary of Barnsely v Preston in any language let alone English which works as a hookey get around for the prem games
