Its really starting to irrate me that we have players sat in the stands that I feel could do a better job than the ones on the pitch....
My examples of this are Andy Johnson and Kim Christensen.... Now De Silva is out we are crying out for a ball winner in the middle of the park to disrupt the other team... Johnson did this well in the First few games of the season and then just disappeared. Up front for all of K.O's recent improvements he still doesnt look like a goal scorer, and Nards is lazy, lacking in pace and offside 75% of the time....So why not give Christensen his chance...He's had so little oppurtunities to shine, When he came on at Hillsborough he looked impressive!!
I know that Davey is meant to have issues with these players but its about time he put getting results infront of his "its my way or the highway attitude"

    If we lose tonight

They better get the life support system warmed up. Things aren't looking too healthy.

Scoring a goal would be nice

Personally, I didn't think Johnson looked any better than anyone else, he was decent in the tackle, but wouldn't (or was it couldn't) get past the half way line. Seemed knackered all the time.

True, but his fitness levels seemed miles behind the rest of the team (granted he's a fair few years older than most).

I take your point about Johnsons fitness levels, Its just as good a right back as Hassle is he will never be a defensive midfielder. Heres another thought.... I know that Paul Ried has had some grief about his performances as a centre half but when we brought him to the club we did so to play in the middle of the park, so why not give him the chance to do so. As far as I remember he didnt do a bad job their in his first season. Plus with the confidence of have a solid back line behind him it may boost him to put in a performance... Cant see why we dont try what weve already got at the club before we look to the transfer market again in the summer!!!!!!
