He did exactly the same thing last year, he stalled and stalled and when no one else came in he signed.

If he wanted to sign for us he should have followed his skipper and done so straight away.

I have to say his little game has blown up in his face this time and I'm glad the club have stood up and been counted.

GS is not a stupid man as we all know, there is no way made he is going to let this promotion go to waste so that we end up back in the pub league because the financial implications are too daft to think about.

He has to make sure we bring in players or we all know we will drop like a stone, but he obviously only wants players committed to the cause and not just out to make a few bob.

I really do think there will be players coming in but that they will be frees and loans.

BFC has been ruled by agents and players for too long and I for one am glad that appears to have been stopped.

Everyone including GS, PC knows we have to stay up so trust em and hold your nerve, it will be worth it.

One last point, as for Shuker saying the lads wanted him back what kind of message does all of the stalling send out to them...that he was dead keen to play with em again.

    Rant over

Well said - was going to say the same

We went through this last year with the little **** and it was obvious he only ended up staying with us cos nowt better came along. For half of last season he wasn't worth his place so we wont miss him. Hope he has lost out big time in all this and ends up back at Hartlepool!
