Why's the Headingly test starting on Friday?

    against sri lanka last year i know they started 1 test (may have been more than 1) on a friday and i kept think day 2 was day 3 etc.

    the ICC are such money grabbing bunch of sods, that the schedule these days is too busy to start on a Thursday all the time anymore.
