O'Brien gets a place in the side then he plays him in middle. Last 5 he got put out wide and got crosses in

I just don't get what Hill is trying to get from JOB. Ridiculous tactics against poor teams.

He hasn't got a clue. Sees himself as some kind of visionary, who's building something which the lowly fans don't understand. Never plays the same team twice, constantly plays people out of position and routinely makes inexplicable substitutions. Only thing he's building, is a career in lower league football.

I totally agree i think this club is planning for division one . Because they think we cant afford to be in championship. Now i dont know what we or patrick can afford and ive been told it would cost £350,000 to get rid of the idiot from rochdale .But for goodness sake something got to alter soon, Hassent it?

That would be too simple for a tactical genius like Keith. Wingers on the wing? Way too old school. What we need is diamonds, triangles, possession.

Said it before.............football is a simple game so why complicate it?

Get defenders in who's first priority is to defend rather than knock it along back 4 (or to a non-red shirt in McNulty's case).

Play wingers who can get crosses in for strikers.

Play midfielders who can get a tackle in and spread ball wide.

    S I M P L E S ?

Keith Hill is no visionary.............he's way out of his depth and it really shows.

Iv'e always said it,football is a simple game, all these managers/coaches as they like to be called now, all get the same coaching badges, then they like to make a simple game look difficult to justify the badge they've got.
I cant ever remember reading that Brian Clough,Bill Shankley,Sir Alf Ramsey and many more succesful managers ever had a coaching badge or the use of Prozone or whatever its called.

Watched goals on sky sport for me to still frame them slowly and see what exactly happened. Goal1 Davis runs in bad is 12 inches above any of our players. There is not one of our players off the floor or got anyone covered. Steele is too late to get up. All their players are like all the Championship sides 6 ft plus. We are not 6 ft no where near.. Second goal, long ball punted in, Davies runs in again jumps up, and Greening left for dead. No tippy tappy just direct football into the box.Question, why don't we play Craig Davis, Tudgay, and for height Harewood, and play same game, Direct

    Re: I agree

Principles, ideas, long term thinking, layering, forward planning, diamonds etc etc are out of the window now. We need to get 30 odd points from 22 games. We've proved we can't do that by passing the ball around our own back 4.

So do something else. Lump it in the box, hope for the best, whatever. Just change it.

football is about space, nothing more, nothing less, if you find it and you make sure your opponent doesn't you win. Barca have perfected it, pass with purpose and if you lose it close down with huge intensity their first 2 passes to get the ball back and start again. I don't want to see hoof ball, ever, infact, no one does, that's why Phil Brown is managing in League 2.
