    what a load of ********.
And it's supposed to be a classic, my arse. Ye gods and little fishes, they really lacked for entertainment in them days.
Total utter crap... in my humble opinion.

I saw it in June 1969 when I was 10. It was a great film to watch as a kid.

A couple of days after I saw it I noticed a clip of the film on the news, Judy Garland had died.

I don't think anyone's denying that. The question is, why do you feel the need to shoehorn it into every thread even when you know that it's boring the tits off so many people? Maybe you could come up with some original schtick for the New Year and do us all a favour?

I loved it as a kid and I still have a degree of warmth towards it now. Considering the time it was made it is a good fantasy kids film.

well I respect your view fella however

go and watch it again... and take really long look and think about it... think about family values and community spirit... and then a HUGE penny may drop. But also have a great New years eve and hopefully a wonderful 2016 :)
