FM you are right! Next to bottom there flipping well are! I have been pondering all day: BC or Wigan to leave and, I hate to say this, but it would be wonderful to see BC stay and Wigan Go: or as they say in Scotland, "a'm a wrang"?

Im still not sure Albie whether Id want to see Wigan or Bristol stay up, I dont have any real grudge with Wigan but its obvious what I think about Johnson & Bristol.
Wigan make me sick though with them being bankrolled by a mega rich owner, and the fact that they get more than their fare share of luck with the refs.

Your Choice darling: I used to fly C130's in the RAF until 2006 and their nickname was "fat albert"-why I really don't know. Re: fatal bert I think it sometimes fits better especially with the fiasco (it happens Adam don't beat yourself up too much) so being fatalistic is probably a good Oakwell asset? Bloody blind refs piss me off though and the sooner we allow cameras a la rugby the bloody better.

Who would pay for that though if they did bring in tv replays ? And you can bet it would only be used in the Premship.

Acido, I'm not sure it is THAT expensive to be honest. I live in the south west and support Bath rugby and Bath have had this TV 4th umpire I think, for 3 seasons. Average gate is about 12k at Bath RFC so not dissimilar to Barnsley FC. The pressure to stop TV refereeing ie the 4th umpire is driven by, I think, vested commercial and betting interests, ahem, all around us. It stinks to be honest and refs are human after all and if they know that they can get away, scot free, what's to stop them making a few quid for looking askance at the (non-favoured) team and awarding a penalty/blind eye/"offside" decision? The sooner video assistance comes in, the better, after all what is there to lose apart from discouraging amateur/professional dramatics on the field? And, I too am an actor and very good at it darling!

They were chanting "we are staying up" last night.

I think Brighton away might have a big say in that lol

I'm exactly the same and for the same reasons mate. Suppose out of the two I'd keep Wigan because it's a local game.
