http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/39255049 Is that 3 teams in the division in 4 days now? (and two today)
Don't understand how Wigan are in such trouble. Surely with Omar £1m+ Bogle in their team they should have rocketed up the league? Sure some posters on here kept bringing up how crap we were for not signing him when he notched a penalty and free kick in his first couple of games. Gone quiet now. They are reaping what the sow for signing players for fees and wages their turnover in championship, let alone if they go down to L1, could sustain. And spending even more sacking a manager after 3 or 4 months! Crackers
If they go down reckon they'll be looking to offload Morsy. It was only Warren Joyce (and £15k a week) that made him sign an extension there. He's too good for L1.
Amazing how things turn out. When we beat them on the last day to secure a playoff place, some of their fans, and bitter scunny fans were saying how they hadn't tried, and had let us win. Some wigan fans were willy waving about how they would spend millions in getting back into the top flight. Really hope they go down. Absolute nothing club. Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
Hopefully if he did become available we don't go in for him because I don't want him back in a Barnsley shirt at any point in the future.
We want players to play for us who want to be here. He had his chance, chased the money rather than ambition and it's going tits up for him (on the ambition front obviously not the money one), so no second chances.
There's no room for error at Wigan with the looks of this, 4 months then the sack if its not to their satisfaction. Its a good job the managers get a decent payoff or no manager or head coach would touch them.
I like this particular quote from the Wigan chairman who must have forgotten about their parachute payments when he said it. "Although we acknowledge the difficulties faced in managing a team in a league where we are competing against clubs with much larger budgets, the nature of some of our recent defeats, especially against close rivals, has fallen short in terms of what we as a club, and all our supporters, expect."
Their glory hunting fanbase need to get out the history books, and lower their expectations accordingly. Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
Wigan gave him a new improved contract, so they will now have difficulty moving him on. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
