It will follow a 4-0 win for the Latics at Halifax last weekend - which kept up their 100 per cent record in pre-season matches Hutchings said: "The core of our squad is in place, though we are always looking to improve and build. "Let's see how we get on at Barnsley, where I'm looking to put out a strong team, niggling injuries permitting, and then go from there. "It's been good so far, and I'm pleased that we seem to be improving game by game in terms of fitness and understanding." Reds chief Simon Davey will be hoping to field a side that can end Wigan's impressive form and make it a match worth watching, as the club bid to ride the blow of having players affected by a bug that has been sweeping Oakwell. The match kicks off at 7.30pm. Only the East Upper and Lower stands and Pontefract Road End will be open; there will be no admission to the West Stand. Admission is £10 adults, £5 concessions.</div>
