Good luck to em. Odd world where a Bahranian business man buys a club he has no connection to but hey ho it seems to be working for us.
Just had a quick look at the L1 table. Extremely tight down at the bottom end. They could easily be playing L2 football next season.
I couldn't care less one way or the other. I'm pleased they haven't gone the same way as Bury, but they're off my radar.
Glad they are safe, because no fan should lose their club. Must be heart breaking. But hope they have a pleasant few years in league 2
Happy for them. While they may have a small minority of idiotic fans (don’t we all) most are sound and don’t deserve to lose their club because of the ineptitude of the EFL and actions of dodgy foreign ‘investors’.
Glad they didn’t go bust but hope they stick to their present level or lower , When the glory hunters have gone that’s when you count you’re fanbase https://forums.vitalfootball.co.uk/threads/appreciation.114488/
Agreed. New ownership should mean someone coming in and looking after the club responsibly. Some will welcome that after what they’ve just been through but many will expect a return to the Whelan days because that’s their norm and what attracted them to the club. I hope to goodness they don’t come in and start spending their way up the leagues again. If they do, and it ends badly they’ve only their selves to blame.
Had a debate on a Facebook group. The reason they hate us. Is because our club had the audacity to be represented at the appeal and claimed costs. Aye alreight. We should have stayed out of it. As no other club would have requested the same. Numbnuts a lot on em.
