    Doesn't just have to be a Wii - Also works for PS3 and Xbox360 replacements. The same trick can be done with the mic's also.

    It's been doing the rounds for a couple of months - It does still work - But, they do have your name / address and proof that you've claimed falsely, as the above serial numbers have been claimed possibly hundreds of times.

    If your going to put a claim in, it's worth tweaking some of the numbers in the middle of the serial, if it isn't valid, it lets you try again. Or better still, find someone with a legit guitar and use their serial number.

    this "trick" has prevented me getting my broken parts fixed...

    because people have clicked on about this, activision have stopped sending them out. now ive actually got a broken drum set, i can't get a replacement.

    oh well, get a real set next time i suppose :D

    Nar it's still going - Know 3 people on another forum I go on that each had drum kits delivered yesterday.
