How do you attatch a wii to a tv? Is it useing a scart lead or what?

It seems to be the same as the PS2, using the red yellow and white ended cables. You can get an adapter that turns them into a scart soccet at the end

 

It is a phono cable (red white and yellow) which you can either plug into TV directly or into a scart input.

what about controllers wat battery type do they use?

AAA i think, the ones with the console are rechargable ones but i've dumped them for top spec duracells.

 

AA but you'll want to get the rechargeable upgrade. £30ish gets you a cradle and rechargeable batteries for two wii remotes. (Y) (Y)
