Will a right good thrashing tomorrow finally open some eyes?

I hoping for a win and a great draw, but if we get turned over, which i think will hapen then maybe it will force a few hands. YOU GET ME.

To start with, we can't expect to go thrashing them especially with half a team missing

but clarify whos hands need forcing....

 

The way I see it is like this:

It's a fact that we have to finish above three other teams.
In my opinion - it's three from six.
Only Hull, Leeds, QPR, Southend & Luton look shabby enough to go down - along with us.
I look at our squad ... and our best players have probably been Howard, Hassel & Kay.

I then look at who we're competing with:

Hull: Myhill, Delaney, Elliott, Barmby + significant cash to spend
Leeds: Blake, Cresswell, Healey, Killgallon + a few bob to splash
QPR: Blackstock, Jones, Lomas ... possibly one of the weaker squads
Southend: Eastwood, Campbell-Ryce ... another dodgy squad
Luton: Coyne, Vine, Langley, Boyd ... with a few quid left of the Howard money

I realise that big name players do not make a team.
On the other hand ... I honestly think that the fact that we have the smallest wage budget in the division reflects the quality of player we have.

Hull - they can bring in enough to survive (stay up if QPR fail)
Leeds - I can see them getting out of there (stay up).
QPR - they could go into freefall (stay up if Hull fail).
Southend - not got enough quality (down).
Luton - might just keep their noses above water (stay up).

We are simply not good enough.
The fat lady in the East Stand may not be singing yet ... but she's clearing her throat & doing her scales.

It may make the powers that be realise that we have a mickey mouse squad that is comparable to lg1 midtable in quailty.

ok, I know what you meant about the thrashing

just was pointing out that we might not get as bigger thrashing if we had a full strength side


but cheers for clearing up you other point, was unsure if you were taking a pop at some fans or the board, now I can see that
