If yesterday is his vision of the future? i.e. 2 banks of 4, a narrow midfield with no wingers, playing from deep, then I think it's going to be bloody awful to watch even if we play well. I've stuck by Davey mostly but the football is getting worse and worse.
What I don't understand Is that at home at least, our best performances have been with 2 wingers, like the Wednesday game at home. That formation played yesterday might be okay away but not at home.
RE: What I don't understand I agree, that formation at Hillsbrough worked ok, they came at us, we soaked up the pressure and hit them on the break. But for struggling sides coming to Oakwell happy to take a point we're playing into their hands. It was crying out for some width yesterday and when Hamil came on we looked much more likely.
