I've always said since we win in Cardiff, in the next 5 years we'll be in the top flight again.

It's not reasonable to expect us to get promoted to the top flight in the next five years - that shouldn't be the mark of success. I would suggest that it would represent a level of success above and beyond what we can reasonably ask for. For me, the next five years would be successful if we became a stable, well financed second tier club in the top eight regularly challenging for the playoffs, able to attract and pay 'box office' players who are maybe coming to the end of their career (or exciting young players on their way to the prem). Most of all, playing attractive short passing football worth watching - that's important.

In the next twenty years owt can happen - we're as likely to go down as up in that space of time, or maybe both. look at the last twenty years!

Personally I have no ambitions for us to be a premier league name - I'd rather the club was stable and respectable (top half coca-cola championship), and capable of a good cup run, and beating the Wednesdays and the Uniteds.

How many people HONESTLY believed we would win promotion last season? I believe we're a big club .

And I won't moan if we don't achieve by then,
    true supporters don't do that!

it's a start. If we're there at the end of the season we'll have done amazingly well. Let's hope for that. Come on you reds!

Let's put it this way - I wouldn't sell the soul of the club to long ball football just to get back to the premier league. I'd rather play good passing football. It would be great to win the division and go back to the premier league, but in someways I'm once bitten twice shy of it. Fair enough I want my side to win every game convincingly and look good, but I think it's reasonable to sit in the top eight of the coca-cola championship. I won't be getting angry in five years time if we're not back in the premier league. All the best to Sheffield United - I hope you do alright. It's no reflection on us if you stay up and of course I want to beat you, Leeds and Wednesday.
