Not the finest moment in my lifetime

Hmmm. Don't know what to say really, lol.

Believe it or not, 1st half we were by far the better side. They had 2 shots all half - both took wicked deflections and went in :'( - then we missed an injury-time penalty.

Still believed we could win it in the 2nd half but a couple of quick goals put paid to that - the own goal from Mark Kennedy was a clinical finish that any center forward would have been proud of.

At 5-0, the lure of "The Sumners" beer garden was far more tempting and I succumbed to that temptation :D

Can't see me ever going to Preston again. Been 3 times, lost 5-0, 4-0 & now bloody 6-0! Worst defeat for 31 years, 7-1 at Luton - and I was there as well. Beginning to think I'm a jinx.

That's 2nd spot out of the window now, particularly with Brum winning. Just need that 1 point now to guarantee a play-off place.

Cracking result for you to get a point at Reading, particularly with Norwich losing. I can see us getting Reading in the play-offs tbh - would be happy with that given their current form.

    Onwards & upwards eh (Y)
