As a proud and passionate fan, surely the owner demands a decent performance and ideally a win against our main rivals...? I dont think anyone now would blame him for sacking Johnson, in fact if he we put on a poor display, to not sack him smacks of giving up. Team selection, tactics and formation all down to the manager. If he cant motivate a team to perform in our 'cup final', what credibility has he left? Dont mind admitting I'd have sacked him 4 weeks ago and it'll take more survival in League 1 to convince me Johnson worth keeping long term.
i thought he'd get the bullet after the cup game, however this must be last chance saloon on saturday. Sacking managers constantly isnt the answer, panicking like we've done before has got us nowhere however there comes a time when enoughs enough. If we win who knows, it could be all different in a months time.
Good post, but can't see him going now even if we lose badly on Saturday. He should have been surviving on a match to match basis weeks ago. Strangest thing I ever saw was him still being there now.
It appears that LJ will be here until at least the end of the season. I'm guessing that if we stay up he'll stay, and if we go down (which we won't) he'll go. The team are clearly behind him, as last nights performance shows. I hope he proves us all wrong and after a poor first season, turns out to be the best manager we ever had. I'll be here till I die, regardless of where we're playing. Come on you Reds.
Should have gone 3 weeks since so what makes you think that the owner will sack him in next few weeks ? This inept coach/manager is taken us down to division 4. Some bad teams in this league and were 1 of them
I don't think anything will change regardless of the result on Saturday. Johnson will see the season out.
