    Sunderland Bid For Kieffer Moore Promotion chasers Sunderland have reportedly tabled a bid of £2 million for striker Kieffer Moore. The Barnsley marksman has been in impressive form this season, scoring 15 goals. The Black Cats are set to lose Josh Maja to Bordeaux and are desperate to bring in reinforcements. Moore impressed during Barnsley’s loss at the Stadium of Light earlier this season. Even though his side were defeated 4-2, he scored both goals and was a handful throughout. If reports are true and Sunderland have tabled a bid, Barnsley have a decision to make. Keep the 26-year-old or take the offer from a rival, which could be difficult to refuse

    If they sell mid season to a promotion rival for any amount of money, questions would be asked of the owners intentions and would be justified.

    Will be like when mid season Huddersfield sold Marcus Stewart to Ipswich who got promoted in their place due to his goals.

    His worth imo will be more in January and in L1 than in the summer In either L1 of Championship .
    Although 2mil is good money for Kieffer it’s not worth it to us .
    They would have to come up with stupid money for us to even contemplate it at this time and as said above probably quadrupled is a bit iffy imo

    Are journos just recycling the same news over and over, just to keep "in" with all the latest.
    Im sure the club have stated no one will leave unless its silly money.
    £2 million is nowhere near silly enough for our leading marksman.

    I'd love him to get a hat trick today but have to come off after 85 minutes with a slight hamstring strain which could keep him out for a few weeks, long enough for other teams to chalk "f.uck it" on taking him from us.
    Oh and then at the start of February he recovers !
