Probably not..............................BECAUSE Because they beleive they are a BIG club and will throw money at the problem to solve it even though they are currently £30 million in debt We on the other hand 'generally' beleive we are a small club and are thankful for anything we get And in a nutshell that is why Wendy have been and always will be a big club and we will always be wishing we could be And in a nutshell that is why People from Barnsley walk round Barnsley with Wendy shirts on But People from Sheffield don't walk round Sheffield with Barnsley shirts on I wish we could get some directors in to prime the pump
Can't remember last time I saw one (other than when we played them!) Now Liverpool shirts on the other hand!
I'd prefer Barnsley to... ...remain careful with their money and ensure the future of the club than chuck daft money around and land themselves in debt and problems. Any fool can go down that road and we've all seen how horribly wrong it can go. Being financially astute doesn't mean a lack of ambition and we can still dream of greater things. We didn't get promoted to the Prem by splashing the cash. The satisfaction of doing it the right way is all the better for it too.
Spending money the Wendy way Lets spend it carfully, thats ok.........but why dosen't Wendy do that Because traditionally they have seen themselves as a big player.........we don't And because of this we get people walking round the TARN with Wendy shirts on I was in the local pub on Tuesday and a few guys round the tele were watching the scores coming in and shouting "come on Wednesday". Thats in a pub in BARNSLEY Until we change the way fans and more importantly the directors look at Barnsley football club then this will always be the case Wendy fans don't even see us as competitors
depends.................... on how long Laws is given-Derby were second bottom last season after 6 games
however there isn't any money to throw around-they can only loan players until the next window-and who would want to go there? Current footballers-as opposed to blinkered Wed fans-don't see them as a BIG club-just one languishing at the foot of the table-even the ground and facilities wouldn't impress nowadays
I think I've just convinced myself we will finish above them-and mark my words we'll be above the Blunts as well

RE: Yes. Because we are going for top six ,nothing too much to fear , financially and player wise streets ahead of the wendys.
come on yoo reds! its just like watching ,Brazil,Nigeria ,Ireland ,Germany ,Peru,..........
