In Williams, Yiadom and Bree we now have 3 right backs who will all be wanting a start.

No but if the right offer comes in we'll have to sell him

Yiadom can play at right wing and Williams left back so it's not like they can't play at all if Bree does

And Bree's originally a midfielder let's not forget

Isn't new lad a wing back or winger anyway?

Yiadom seems to have been a winger in his younger years, then got put in a right back as a short term measure a couple of seasons back and has stayed there since after impressing.

Never a bad thing to have versatility and competition for places.

From the clips, he looks more like a right sided midfielder to me - calm finisher with either foot. I doubt Bree is going anywhere. You need a squad not just an eleven.

Plus George can play either side. So much has been essential already. :D

Wonder if it means George will be staying at left back if White doesn't extend his contract??

I'm sure all the rave reviews about Bree were that he was a brilliant prospect at centre mid, but needed to improve his defensive attributes and positional sense while also develop a bit physically, which he can do at right back.

Liverpool did the same with Gerrard playing him at right back when he first got in squad. I'd settle for Bree having the same impact as Gerrard!

Mansford scooted round the questions a little when RS ask him about it.

    We'll see.

We would be insane to let him leave just as he's developed into a very good L1 player. Yet to be seen if he can play higher but my instinct say yes. Old school defender who I'm sure the longer he plays and trains as a professional will improve going forward
