Williams to Huddersfield...............why not the rest of um???

In Ritchies eyes - if the team that was succesful at Cardiff were good enough for the Championship
And Barnsley have more or less sacked most of that squad
Austin, Kay, Tonge, Richards etc etc etc.......

Why didn't Ritchie try to get them all playing at 1st Division Huddersfield ???
Championship players should do well in a lower league.

Or is there more to this than meets the eye ???

 

That would assume he didn't think any of the players he currently has at Huddersfield were up to the standard.

We had a near disasterous season last season..........Why ???
Last season could have pushed the club back 30+ years to the dark ages of the late 60s and early 70s.
I'm sure there's more than just me interested to find out what happened and why ???
Would like to hear from insiders to try to solve the puzzle

I heard Simon Grayson on Sky sports saying he was happy in the main with his squad that got them promoted. So obviously he's really out to destroy Blackpool FC. Jesus truly wept.

Surely you can think beyond this and are wondering - what happened last season and why was the WELL in such turmoil ???

Don't think this turmoil is over yet.........we are starting the season with nearly a NEW team
When we should have been just adding to the squad that did OK last season
I really beleive its going to be at least another 2 seasons before we can start building on sound foundations
And this stems from Ritchies reign at the top.......so anybody got any info that can shed light on the Ritchie time
As anything new come to light ???

And as far as Huddersfield are concerned..........we went up they didn't
So wouldn't Ritchie be better off with some members of his old Barnsley buddy squad
Nothing to suggest he has come in for them is there...........why not ???

I think you'll find that ritchie was a mere manager at Barnsley football club. The man at the top is called Gordon Shepherd.

 

But don't forget that Young Nudger also said that ritchie didnt sign anybody while at Oldham either, well apart from the 30 or so signings that he made....

Yes my only interest is that we stayed up last season. Very little else matters because it was job done, and we move on this season. SD took over, rushed some signings through.</p>

My confidence for this season is so far good, and will be even better should we get another 3-4 signings. Yes, it is going to be a new team, but if the quality is there, and the five week training plan SD's got in place goes to plan then it shouldn't be an issue. The board have stated cash is available but not at the risk of going way into the 'Red.</p>
