Not a lot went right for him today. He overran the ball, passes went astray, it just wasn't going for him. But I thought he was excellent. So much energy and drive. Just his presence in the team made things happen. Maybe he was trying a bit too hard at times, which can bring on mistakes. When he settles down a bit I think he'll be a very good player for us. Jennings and Treacy have got to show the same kind of energy.

Lita was only on two minutes, but good to see him putting himself about a bit too, which he hasn't done so far.

Really tough game against Peterborough next week, then two home games, one against the top of the league, before we play dem blades away. This is supposed to be the ale house league isn't? I've seen just as much quality football as I saw in the Championship for the last few seasons and the games are far more exciting. Enjoying this season and we're only midtable.

It's Stoptober. We've stopped losing. I like it. Movember next month. Where we move into the automatic spots.

Yes, I've had a drink and yes I'm going to bed soon. Up at 5am. But able to walk into work smiling.

    You Reds.

Agree with your post n all. :)

Williams brought a similar energy to midfield that jimbob brought when played down the middle. I really enjoyed his performance today

Started poorly with a fair few mistakes, but grew as the game went on and gave a much better performance than most of the 30 odd games Jennings has played in. Unlucky to have not scored and great to once again see a winger for us who might lose the ball a few times but isn't afraid of trying to take on a man. The Tom Kennedy ponytail has to go though :)

Reminded me a lot of Devaney. Very direct, running at players even in situations where the odds were against him - great to see.

very quick! and said he had a decent game although on another day could have picked up a couple of yellows and a red card. just got a coupe f tackles wrong and went in with studs up.

By looked decent! he reminded me of someone but cant juts place it.

Looked like a winger playing in central midfield, slightly lost... Vice versa, Hourihane central role looks natural to him but he looked isolated and frustrated playing out wide

Did everything we were hoping Jennings would do. Quick, lively, positive, direct, grafted and supported his defenders.

Don't care he lost his footing or ran into tackles, he ran into 'em full throttle and it's exactly what you want from an attacking midfielder.

He grew into the game really well. Reminded me a lot of Jim O'brien in the way he always seemed to be in a rush. Lost the ball a lot (Like O'brien), but his energy is something this teams been lacking and I think He'll be a great addition for us.

In his interview he said he prefers the number 10 role, but I think he could be useful for us in both.

He was nothing more than decent but unfortunately that's a lot better than either Treacy or Jennings have been all seasob

Thought he looked good. Looked a bit rusty as you'd expect but a few games under his belt and he could be a match winner for us. Injured twice in 2 games though is a worry.

To be fair to Treacy I thought he put in a good shift against Rochdale.

Think they were both precautionary measures Arch.

I liked the fact that he wanted to move us forward at every opportunity.

I thought he had a very promising game. A few things didn't come off for him but he stuck at it and seemed a real driving force.

Interesting to see him when he's match fit. Looks dangerous, but a bit rusty. That central role seemed to suit rather than wide.

not played first team footie for a while(according to his season profile) so yeah looked rusty.BUT when he was moved infield he stopped their deep sitting midfielder pulling the strings. He has good energy, yes he mistimed a tackle or two but he can tackle and isnt bothered to put the work in.I can see him played well in that role which will open the spaces for winnal and cole.Well done Ryan
