    First time I've seen him today and was impressed by him. Never seemed rushed, and seemed to choose the right option when required.

    For a player who has jumped 4 leagues in the pyramid, he looks a good prospect.

    Certainly looked capable of performing at this level. Incredible to think he's been playing 4 leagues below us. Early days but he's made a decent first impression.

    Got to say I was impressed by all the new lads today and that includes smith and of course holgate. Some were better than others or had a more influential/comfortable game than others but they all impressed. The 'worst' new boys looked more than adequate for this league

    He did look good today and didn't look like the step up was going to be a problem.

    Played well in both his matches so far. So calm and assured on the ball. Doesn't just boot it up field to no mans land. Good both defensively and going forward. Looks a bargain so far.

    Looked spot on to me. Obviously bigger tests await but looks like we'll have no problems at right back for the rest of the season
