Post up the whole of last season ave away attendances - just to be Clapham omnibus officiously bystanding.
If you want to look at it in that rather negative manner, then yes, we do give other clubs revenue. So yes, ignore this further attempt of mine to show our fanbase in a good light (makes a change from being labelled the worst in the league etc) and everyone please cease to attend any away game in future. Do not buy John West tuna, either, as it's going towards Sheffield Wednesday's revenue, and don't buy any toilet roll, as it may end up in the bank account of dem blades. Hang on, just realised... I'm Spartacus doesn't do away games. Now I get it. Carry on.
I think in all seriousness, we know they topped it last season. I think we were third/fourth. I expect them to top this seasons too, based on them having 20,000 home fans compared to our 8,000. Maths innit? However, at this point, and having played one less away game and done more mileage than them, it's worth shouting about in my Barnsley FC obsessed opinion.
Is "in all seriousness" from you an oxymoron? Anyway we are way beyond maths in our away support which is stupendous and (having regard to the punishment generally received at venue) weirdly and wonderfully masochistic.
