Both were left a crap team. Ferguson and Gill got out as they knew what was coming. Moyes came in but he has failed with his tactics and the money he had. Missed some of his targets but he is not hacking it. Wilson exactly the same, inherited a poor team that needed picking up of the floor. He spent the little money he had but he is not hacking it Both sets of fans wait for the big turn round, but it has never climatised. So if Moyes job is on the line why should Wilsons not be. Neville thinks a manager should be given two years, but watching how Man utd are playing with no cutting edge or fight he thinks Moyes will not survive. We are playing with no cutting edge or fight and I think that Wilson is never going to produce it. Sorry lads but that is my opinion and hope I am wrong
I suppose you can only judge Wilson on his record since he came in, not brilliant I know but a season of that form and we'd probably stay up comfortably. Unfortunately for us finishing in the bottom third of the league is almost overachieving. I've not been a fan of his tactics and team selection though but I'm not sure if changing it will do us any good. If we're not at least challenging the play-offs after a few months in League One though we'd have to think about getting rid.
With a win percentage of 24% which is less Han Keith Hill he should be asked to leave at the end of the season, he has been an abject failure.
Look what Wilson did at the BLUNTS! Played for a 0-0 in play off final v Shuddersfield and lost on penalties. One striker up front and no shots on target! Sounds very familiar. Strange decision to let Daggers go and Danny Rose never featured at all. Tactics and team selection are strange. Hope he's not been in the same syndicate as Dawson LOL
So how come Moyes has not carried it on. He spent 65million and still cannot get them going. Our budget was smaller but same thing with not hacking it with team
