Yeah because that's worked so well since the premiership season hasn't it. **** sake grow some and accept its going to take a year or two from here to get us into a strong position to go up and stay up. New players got us 3 points last week and 0 this week. Doesn't mean we suddenly abandon what was just a couple of days ago a 4 window plan. Thank god it seems Cryne has learnt his lessons seemingly that sacking managers every year DOESNT work. Let's try sticking with a manager and develop a squad.
Well your going to have to stomach it or don't bother supporting us cos that's where we are right now. Like it or lump it.
people are pi$$ed off with paying their hard-earned cash, to see yet another dreadful performance. another one many we've had to sit through this season. do you really think 'like it or lump it' is the right response?
Gareth Ainsworth is a good shout, he's got a group of young players playing brilliant football at Wycombe and they're top of the league.
I follow this forum from a far, and tbh I don't make many of the games- however enough is enough! How the hell can DW justify keeping his job? We're in real danger of going down and al he keeps rattling on about is building for the future. I'm afraid if we continue this way, then we'll be building for the future in League 2. The whole point of the lower leagues is to have battling experienced pro's who can do a job for 90 minutes away at the likes of Crawley, Port Vale and Chesterfield. The average age of the squad is far too young. Any professional team (at any level) should in my opinion have at least seven first teamers who have AT LEAST over 100 professional games under their belt. I'm sick of everybody saying patience this, and patience that- he has to go! and quick! We need to get a different manager in- who will gurantee survival and then get some experienced bodies through the door! We're Barnsley Football Club and we're a bottom half sized Championship club- the facts are there! we've been in the second tier of English football more than any other club. Stop sticking up for DW because a manager is a results based business and second time around his record has been atrocious.
How about that bloke who's at bury? He's young, had a great start as a manager, but not sure what happened after that....
Explain why? Tell us how he should've approached the game differently? We're we ever likely to win without 3 of our best players, Winnall, Cranie & Ramage?
are people asking for instant success though? or are they asking for signs of progress? after c60 games, we've been relegated from the championship and are currently within 3 points of relegation zone, playing some pretty dreadful football on a regular basis..i understand why people are questioning things
