We have possibly the greatest manager in the club's history at the moment. Paul Heckingbottom If you're not behind the team now, **** off & support the f£cking fowl army, or go Bell End Road. I'm 52, seen the Glavin team, the Promotion / Prem & post teams & I'd say I'm as happy to be a Barnsley fan today as then. Wilson was always Wednesday. Did an OK job with us, but i reckon if Hecky stays & gets the chance, we have the best BFC side in modern history. Club needs to back him on wages though.
Is it Wilson v Hecky day or what. To me we had a good young manager that brought us success and now we have another who has brought us success and will hopefully go on to build upon that.
I'm similar age to you can agree with the majority of that, but that "ok job" was taking us to the prem. I don't think it'll ever be repeated if I'm honest. Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
I remember the teams you have mentioned and I believe that Hecky is a very good manager who could become our best ever but to say that Danny did an OK job is just daft. He achieved something no other manager has done and for that he has and always will have my respect.
This is too complicated to post. I'm off to DJ in Australia for 2 months... (i've made 16 games this season). Maybe a pint at some point? Easier.
I was going to reply telling @John Peachy to enjoy his two months in Australia until I saw the thread has been bumped from five years ago
