Against an experienced midfield containing the likes of Wellens and Coppinger, did Danny realistically think Berry and Hourihane were gonna cope today? Scowen and Bailey on the bench. As soon as the team was announced I knew we were gonna struggle. Poor.

I bet Danny is starting to wonder how much more bad luck we can possibly get with injuries.

All teams get injuries. Ramage and Pearson out today but they are both loan players, not ours. We couldn't cope and that speaks volumes...

I do feel Hourihane's a bit lacking defensively. He's not someone I'd be overly keen on playing in a central midfield two especially in a local derby away from home. In a 3 he looks a lot better.

I'd personally have started without one of Jennings, Kiwomya & Lalkovic & stuck Digby in there alongside Berry with Hourihane allowed to play without much defensive responsibility.

I'm not really surprised that Ramage is injured again. No one forced Danny to extend his loan.

Prior to lour latest transfer activity, I have thought all season that Houraine, Berry and Bailey are all tidy footballers, who can do a job.................but not together..............they don't work well as a defensive unit (oh and neither does Jennings in that lot) and put far too much pressure on rest of team.
Danny it looks like, has sussed this, and thought Christ we are getting turned over by very average hard working sides most weeks, I need to address this and to his credit has brought in Pearson and this kid from Wycombe, now I know that the man u man was injured but we now need strategy and I agree Digby for me with even new lad.
    Come on Danny lad
