calling for Johnson to be sacked....or saying he's the right man for the job. I haven't called for him to be dismissed yet, but in all honesty the results when viewed in isolation would have merited it, so I do understand where many in the out camp are coming from. I know many will disagree but without covering old ground I think we've had enough decent performances in the defeats (and by the same token I haven't always been over impressed by some of the wins)... that could have been wins or draws if we'd put the chances away or at least converted some of the pressure. I'm not convinced we're a relegation basket case, and overall I think the squad is good enough to be doing significantly better. I haven't made all the games but I haven't seen us get a hammering from anyone and I've seen no evidence that the players aren't giving 100% for the club. I have though seen LJ make a lot of mistakes in tactics, selections and substitutions and for me we've wasted Sam Winnall so far. Lee Johnson is young and that is the reason I'm still prepared to give him a chance, but he has to show he's learning from his mistakes. Posh being the team they are can hammer anyone on their day, tonight could be one of those days...but I won't be suicidal if that happens, and I won't be over optimistic if we win.
"I'm not convinced we're a relegation basket case, and overall I think the squad is good enough to be doing significantly better." As regards the 1st point lose the next 2 games and we will be although I fancy us for a draw. Regards the 2nd point I totally agree
Nothing has changed from my perspective and tonight won't change it either. I don't rate him, never have and won't be sad to see the back of him. I support the reds and that won't change Johnson is a very poor manager.
Why? Do you think the directors will see your hundredth post on the topic and act? Some of you on here think you're a lot more important than you actually are. Leading sad lives I reckon. This place boosts your self worth??
Don't even reply to him Doctor, clearly a childish remark from him trying to pee up the tree higher than you. Looking for some attention, best way is not to give it him, very frustrating for him, he's likely to kick the door post in frustration and break his big toe.
Not sitting on the fence, I'm just giving reasons why I haven't called for him out....and also why I haven't endorsed him as the right man...... But I see where you're coming from.
Long time reader. Although I wouldn't need to be to have worked out that Troutman doesn't like Barnsley managers.
