And thats how the managers will be seeing it. Its not the end of the season if we draw or lose this game........like some on here are saying that it is. So if we lose that dosent mean that we are relegated and the manager needs sacking And if we win that dosent mean that we are safe from relegation..........cos we are not
its going to go bonkers on here if we lose though... will be proper funny watching wath and west melton have a proper hissy fit
Too right just 1 game lets face it sheff wed have lost last 7 even if we win it does not mean reds are staying up
6 point swing against one of our relegation contenders though So losing 3 points to the fowls is worse than say losing 3 points to Cardiff was
In essence you're right. But the fans deserve something to be proud of today. We can't keep writing games off as just another 3 points, because eventually we're going to run out of games, and excuses.
Agreed. If we can't beat a Club who are in the same ***** we are than there is no hope of beating the drop. It's much more than 3 points. It is a solid indicator of the future we have to look forward to, and the demise of BFC as a Championship Club. In the War Churchill said "We must sink the Bismark" and today we must sink Wednesday. Nothing less than a Victory will do.
well they shouldn't be looking at it as just three points then. i know its not the be all and end all of a season and i agree that it shouldn't be d day for both managers but ffs sake its local pride its a fekin derby its the games the fans love, it should be one the club as a whole should be aiming to win (or at least try and win) if thats not the case then they shouldn't be in the game and i chalk fek on it. but i don't think that is the case tbh they'll be wanting this no danger. don't know where your thinking is on this tbh.
It's more than 3 points to me Barnsley's results affect my mood. I know it's only football and I know it shouldn't matter, but if we win I'll feel a hell of a lot better. Doesn't mean I'll be demanding Keith's head if we lose, but 3 points doesn't come anywhere near to explaining what it's about. Come on Barnsley.
Spot on Jay. I feel sick with nerves already. I have a hunch that we will win, but I don't even want to contemplate losing. And that's without Monday morning to contend with, as it's ten years since I worked in an office full of Wednesdayites.
He`ll be seeing it has 3 points and a chance to get a few more fans back on side easing the pressure on him. He`s well aware of bragging rights and their importance, he`s mentioned them after victories over Leeds.
Well said, it's far more important than just three points today. I just hope Hill has tuned into this.
Don't think it would be the loss of 3 points as such that would kick off an outcry more the manner in which we had lost, if we had lost and gone down fighting that would one thing if it was because of long standing failings (crap defending and no attempts on goal) and just basically surrendered that would do it.
