If Luton have made a substantial bid for Shuker, perhaps we are going to accept it, and play Hyes a winger. Then buy Windass. perhaps, only a thought

    i'd go with that...

but wouldn't use hayes on wing, give it devaney and we have plenty of cover for the left hand side and in middle of park.

Windas and Nads up front, thats got goals written all over it!

    Great idea

Bring in another forward when we already have 6 and get rid of one who can create the assists!

    Makes sense!

I propose we get rid of the goalies next to free up space in the squad for some more forwards.

    RE: Great idea

It would appear that Mr. R has a love for strikers in a similar way that Mr Spackman had for midfielders.

Trying to sign an experienced striker makes perfect sense to me

What I'm struggling with is why he first gave an 18 month contract to a striker who got us out of a hole but hasn't really proved anything, spent 50 grand on another striker and then tried to get this experienced player in.

    Dont forget...

...how Shuker reluctantly accepted a new contract last summer. He'll be off like a shot when the right offer comes along. We're right to get some money for him while we can.

Now we are flashing the cash, any chance of signing an experienced centre back who is'nt made of glass?

His contract is out at end of season init? If we don't go up, half the team will leave.
