Windass talking to Hartlepool

Now confirmed - he's gone on loan.

I know PC was talking about a permanent deal for a striker, but surely a few months of Windass would have been of benefit? Shame that - always fancied seeing him in a tarn shirt.

 

Lets hope he signs then we dont have to speculate whether hes coming here or not anymore.

Said Leeds were interested and he's chosen Hartlepool instead!

 

Maybe when he was a fair few years younger and was playing week in week out. I think he will do a job in division three though.

 

I think he would not be match fit these days

He's hardly played this time around - and would probably need at least half a dozen games to get up to speed.

 

He's probably fitter than any of our squad ..............

......... always looked after himself and was picked for their first team v Man City recently, I think he would have done a great job for us for the rest of this season

Just feel it would take him some time to get up to speed. That gets much harder later in life...
