For fook's sake, can somebody just explain the Windass in joke or shut up about it forever because it's really boring when you don't know the in-joke!!! (neer) Please!
Its quite simple There was talk of us signing Dean Windass then shortly after it was clear we weren't going to he got a 5 match ban this was posted by many people at the time then as each new poster came on with the news it was clear they hadnt read the earlier stories and so posted it as new news. This got a bit tiresome after some time its stuck as a way of highlighting someone posting old news (Notts county is a similar but older version)
RE: Its quite simple Oh well, when you put it like that....... (doh) I was thinking maybe it was a way of rubbishing "never going to happen" transfer talk or the like. Anyway, there's usually another much easier way of spotting those posts, the title is usuallyalong the lines of; "Don't know if this has been posted yet or not, but...". In which cased they havn't bothered to scroll down first.
