Silly question, maybe

But when you say you've "put it on a dvd as a .iso file" do you mean you've created a DVD from the .iso (i.e. disc image) file or that you've burnt a DVD with the .iso file on it? It's the former you need to do, not the latter.

When you look at the DVD does it just have an .iso file on it or does it look like a DVD with loads of stuff on it?

You'll need Isobuster to get at the loadable files.

Bust the .iso into a directory then burn the files onto a disc.

In that case it WAS a silly question. Worth a try, though.

You can ignore me now. You're on your own.

You need to boot from the DVD

So either watch on start up for the specific F button you need to press to pick a boot device or alter your BIOS so DVD is the first boot.

But ,,,,,,,,advance warning, Your heading for trouble as the old beta and release candidates are being found out now its official, If you want it I'd get it legal while its cheap. think Dixons online are doing them for less than £60
