At the moment we have a club logo with two guys holding pit and glass making things - very middle of the road boring old fasioned stuff
We have another logo that looks like a very camp Toby Tyke holding a ball and doing a minceing sort of trot

Can't we design something better than this !!!!
And if windy starts printing them and getting them out there - even better

My idea is this - (I'd try to create something to show you but the control panel is so user UNfriendly I can't)
    Anyway my idea is this
    A round badge
In the middle of the badge, a snarling bulldogs head with a spiked collar
Around the top edge of the badge - Yorkshire Tykes
Around the bottom edge of the badge - Barnsley FC

Get this design right - and I'll buy one

why does the control panel being not very user friendly stop you from designing a logo?</p>

Whatever happened to the old Oakwell logo? Simple, effective...liked it.

    Oak + Well

It was designed for the hard of thinking.

    RE: Oak + Well

I'm a big believer in simplicity. The white rose always looked good on the shirt as well and they scrapped that.

    Just what we need

    another logo.

The idea behind having the Town crest was to consolidate with just one badge rather than different badges on different things.

White rose is Yorkshire, not Barnsley

Incorporating the white rose into an updated Oakwell badge would be the best option in my opinion but as a new club crest to be used on everything. The Town crest was a big improvement on what we had before, and the best of the options that were on offer to be voted on.

The current crest is good but needs to be updated...

as my Donny girlfriend pointed out, the two men have got flares on! They can't talk though with a Viking on the badge.

I'm not saying it ort to be the official logo.................not yet anyway

Lets get something out there that we can be proud of first
Something with a bit of an edge to it .....then if it becomes popular.......then try to get the club to adopt it

Can someone with a bit of control panel knowledge put something together like what I have mentioned

    A round badge
In the middle of the badge, a snarling bulldogs head with a spiked collar
Around the top edge of the badge - Yorkshire Tykes
Around the bottom edge of the badge - Barnsley FC

    Yorkshire Tykes???????

Tykes are residents of Yorkshire, so what you are saying is Yorkshire Yorkshirefolk.
