But with current form and formation, it looks as though he'll have to start on the bench.

Can see him starting on saturday. Johnson has made it known he wants more bodies in the box. Lita going makes Winnall even more important due to lack of numbers in the final third. I think his lack of time tonight was to save him for the weekend. If he was going to be on the bench for Walsall i'd have thought he'd have got nearer 20 minutes than 2.

I agree, this formation has got hourihane playing again, if winnal plays he will have to play wide left, I don't think we can play 4 4 2 and warring needs to stay in the side

Winnall will be straight back in when fit we still look very pedestrian up front without him not helped tonight by Laikovic being very poor.

mentioned in another thread - but hope he was told to take it very easy tonight - looked very off it and he walked off looking mighty peeved about something. Hope its just easing himself in and he was upset at not been involved more.

I'd be tempted to drop Lalkovic who seems to be another Hammill/JCR who attempts far too many flicks and tricks when the simple stuff is required. However, he's ex Walsall and I fancy him to notch.

I thought he was poor tonight (Lalkovic). As much as I'm pleased for Waring, Winnall is our best striker and when fully match fit is a definite starter. I like this system so Waring may have to drop to the bench. Would probably give Winnall half an hour Saturday and then start the next game to ease him back.

when he previously returned from injury he came on and ranhimself ragged - probably too hard too fast. He didnt even exert himself tonight. I know he was only on for 10 mins but he just didnt look right to me. Hope he's ok.

i didn't think gilbert was much better, tbh. initial impressions (of gilbert, that is) are of someone who wants to go forward, but doesn't actually ever beat a man. i don't recall seeing him go past their full back once tonight. i did spend most of the match inside Club64 though!

i like lalkovic. bit inconsistent, but has raw ability and pace to beat a player. not seeing too much of that in o'sullivan. so far..
