Looked miles off last night when I saw it on tele and my first instinct at the game was that he was as well
I wasn't there and he looked miles off on the highlights but from the sounds of it the referee would have loved any excuse to deny Winnall the goal so maybe he wasn't?
That linesman on west stand side was absolutely atrocious. 1st time I've been in that stand for 30 years. Opened my eyes to just how much the players can hear. But that linesman missed 3 or 4 blatant offsides. Not sure about winnall it was beyond where I was sat but based on what he missed in the first half he could have been 4 yard off and he would have missed it.
I think Winnall was onside from the initial cross from Ramage. The debate is who got the flick on; if it was Ibhere then I'd say Winnall was offside. But I think it was their lad which if I've interpreted the rules correctly means that Sam was onside as he was when the ball was played by Ramage. That's how I interpreted it anyway.
The ref had a brilliant game, he had Winnall in his back pocket the entire match, I wish we had a player like that.
