Good god we need him back. Shame his recovery hasn't progressed as quickly as they'd hoped but can't wait to have his energy and passion back on the pitch. Our other strikers have only found the net 3 times since his injury, and two of them have since left (Cole and Trotta).

Can't see him starting a game for at least another two weeks.

Makes you wonder, with the tweets, and the comments above on the level of training he has actually reached ...... why the f3ck has the official site got himas being in contention for a starting place on the Port Vale review place ? Sounds to me he is nowhere near ?

He has been training on his own for weeks to get his fitness back up. He has now started training with the first team squad again. Players step back into training to see how they react to the intensity. I imagine if his knee hasn't reacted to it in the morning he will be on the bench tomorrow and if he comes through that ok may be in for a start on Tuesday.

His knee? Thought it was hamstring, or have I dreamt that?

Had to google it, but yeh you're right it is his hamstring. I was so sure I saw a picture on his twitter account of his knee strapped up a couple of weeks ago.

Maybe I should lay off twitter for a while!
