    Must admit even during his lean spell at the start I could see his effort and doing the hard yards.
    Now weighing in with a few goals aswell.
    Ps - nice new tune int Ponty. Winnall/Oasis/Slade combo. One of mi faves. A real toe tapper

    Worth his place.

    In this league.

    Must be hard cos he is not a natural target man. Nor has he Cole's pace.

    So he needs to show an eye for goal. Did so today.

    He's better than O'Grady for me, Winnall has more pace and works harder. Winnall for me doesn't have to score 15 goals like Chris did because Sam just has the best workrate i've ever seen.

    Winnall for me could well be the stand out player this year

    He's got JOB work rate but with the talent to go with it

    Getting better and better.

    I had my reservations at the start of the season, but he's certainly got to grips with this division now and was again our stand out player again for probably the 3rd or 4th game in a row now.

    The perfect example of why it's just plain daft to rush into making a judgement call on a player after he's just made his debut. Also, it proves to me that the Scunny fans who claimed, after we'd signed him, he was idle and work shy know something between nowt & bugger all about football.:D
