Comparing him to the performance of the other top strikers though it still doesn't look bad , when you take penalties out of the equation...and take assists into account. League only goals in open play plus assist contribution. Grigg 19 goals 5 assists....24 Winnall 18 ..........6.................24 Armstrong 17..........5.................23 Dack 11..........11...............22 Madden 15...........6.................21 Ajose 20...........0................21 Sharp 15..........5.................20 Gregory 12...........3.................15 I included Dack just as a measure of overall contribution although later noticed Maddison comes in at only one fewer. Don't know what we paid for Winnall but Wigan paid £1m for Grigg.
