    I can just about remember the feeling, 24 years ago I think, when sub Ronnie Glavin netted at the away end. Would love to witness a similar outcome on Tues but not hopeful in all honesty.

    I see it like this

    In 80s I went to watch the Reds countless times at Oldham. The best we ever got was a draw, usually we lost. After so many defeats I got to thinking - "i'm not going to Oldham anymore, we always lose" ... but then I thought, actually we're bound to win sooner or later, and I have to be there when it happens. Sure enough, one rainy day, Andy Payton gave us a 1-0 win & it was a great feeling. Now, multiply that feeling by 20 - that's how its gonna be if & when we win at Hillsborough. Get yourselves down there. It will happen - sooner or later. (Y)

    I was there that day too !! I'd just love my 8 year old to enjoy the feeling this time around. Let's face it we're more than due !!

    It seems a lifetime since Glav's goal back then! All I can think about is D.I.Can-I-O and Twinz and always coming away in a bad mood. We must be due.
