Just got a laptop and want to set up a wireless network with my cable modem. At the moment I have my pc connected by ethernet cable to my cable modem. If I buy a wireless router can I still connect my pc to the router via ethernet cable and also connect my laptop to the router using its wifi? If that is the case would this router be ok to get?

    Any help appreciated.
    Thanks :)

I have exactly same router with same setup.
Top notch, good signal all over house and into garden.
10 minutes to setup. Ignore the installation cd, just use the quickstart information card included in the box.

sorry this time I was longer but I had to pop out...I use a linksys adsl router it is awesome it will hold great signal strength for about 300 meteres or even more but thats about the furthest away I have been on wireless up the garden hehe....and it had to transmit through at least half a dozen walls. not expensive either and mine was PC world at that .
