Hi. Trying to connect my sons (Home from Uni) Laptop to our new Talktalk router. using the installation disc, but its not picking up our router. tried it with the ethernet cable connected, but no joy their either. both mine & the mrs are connected to it, but for some reason his machine is not picking up our router. his wireless adapter is turned on as its wanting to connect to the others around us. any ideas on whats happening would be very much appreciated.

I had the same trouble. Was put to rights when I bought a card with the ethernet connection for my desk-top PC. There are two types. One costs around £2, the other £10. You want the one that costs £10. If still in trouble, email
